Chris
Although straight (and now married I believe), he was my first love in high
school... and my first realization of my enchantment with red heads.

Rob
I met Rob in Boston via my web page in 1995, and shortly thereafter he became
my second boyfriend... ever (Adam was the first). It wasn't in the cards for
Rob and I, and we haven't spoken for a few years.

Larry
While I had a few boyfriends between breaking up with Rob and moving in with
Larry (in California), I've somehow managed to find myself married to Larry
for the past three years. We're best friends and I don't know what I'd do
if he weren't in my life.

Chuck
Chuck and I met because we both came from Kentucky, we both went to school
in Boston (Me: Boston U. - Chuck: Harvard), and we both knew Tracey Bo. I
went to high school with her sister, and she went to college with Chuck. While
we never dated per se, I was Chuck's first kiss, and I was taken that he was
my brother's age. He's now back in Kentucky working as a Sports Editor for
a local newspaper.

Rich
Rich was Larry's boyfriend when Larry and I first met. He went through the
"return to straight" phase and broke up with Larry in the process.
That was a while ago, and he's now comfortable with himself. Larry, he, and
I have dinner from time to time..

Erik
Though sometimes a little too "unique" for this boring Kentucky
boy, Erik's been my one real friend at USC (the Univ. of Southern California),
where we both attend. We don't see each other as much as we once did, but
I know he'd be there if I needed him.

Matt
Matt's nickname is "the house boy that ran away." Actually, he
never was a house boy, but rather the modern equivalent of a butler, and he
was keen on running errands, fixing dinner, etc... until he got a young boyfriend
who better occupied his time. One day Larry and I found a "Dear John..."
letter, and all his stuff was gone. No forwarding info and a cancelled AOL
account (as to escape from us contacting him) would have to be one of the
worst non-confrontational partings ever.

David
I met David in 1998, just before I put the diary on hiatus. In short, I was
at the point where I was looking for an apartment to move out, start a life
without kids, dogs, and couplehood, and to start dating him. A lot of tears
(from Larry and I both) later, I was staying with Larry and family life for
good. The whole ordeal took its toll on David, though, and while the three
of us gave it a go for a while, it just wouldn't work. David had to move on,
which I understand... but I still love him, and still miss him.

Amanda
Amanda and I go back a while now... middle school, perhaps. The curiosity
of our relationship is that she sees (or at least "saw") it differently
than I. (And could probably tell you the day we met where I can't even pinpoint
the year.) Indeed, like a gay boy in love with a straight lad, she was just
the opposite... and we both entertained the idea of a menage a trois with
her boyfriend. As she really wanted me, I really wanted him, and he really
wanted her. She's now happily married to an army man and lives in Colorado.
