| Yeah, my newsletter "persona" is different from my real life one... even though I don't mean it to be. It sorta relates to what a professor of mine said in speech class yesterday. We were all there when she suggested we have nominations for who was the most improved (from the first speech to the last). I knew that I wasn't great, but I thought I had improved... but only two names were mentioned and neither was mine. Then the professor said something like, "and with 4 or 5 more times, Justin will be able to overcome his nervousness... I do think he's the best speech WRITER of the class and that's a really lucrative market to get into." She then went on about how she'd heard the seat belt speech more times than she could count but that mine was new and refreshing. |
